If you live in Laguna Niguel, the drive to board your cat is about as short as it gets: our hotel sits at 27601 Forbes Rd #25, right in town near the I-5 and Crown Valley Parkway interchange. Most homes in 92677 are within roughly ten minutes of our door, which makes it easy to drop off on the morning you leave and collect your cat on the way home.
Cats Luv Us has boarded only cats since 1993. Being local means neighbors often visit before their first booking, see the suites in person, and come back for grooming between trips.
From the neighborhoods west of the freeway — Marina Hills, Beacon Hill, Kite Hill and the streets around Laguna Niguel Regional Park — Crown Valley Parkway runs straight east to Forbes Road. From Bear Brand and the homes near the ocean side of town, allow a few extra minutes for the climb back over the ridge. Our routing check put a typical in-town trip at about 8 minutes in light traffic.
School breaks, Thanksgiving and the December holidays are when boarding space anywhere tends to fill first. If your dates fall in those windows, reserve early and consider a Saturday-morning drop-off, when the Crown Valley corridor is usually lighter than on a weekday commute. For a first stay, a two- or three-night booking before a longer trip lets you see how your cat settles and gives our staff a chance to learn its habits — whether it eats better from a flat plate, prefers a high perch, or hides for the first afternoon.
The Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Metrolink station is also on Forbes Road, a couple of minutes from us. If you are catching an early train toward Irvine, Los Angeles or Oceanside, you can check your cat in during business hours first and be on the platform quickly.
We are at 27601 Forbes Rd #25, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677, near the I-5 and Crown Valley Parkway interchange and a short hop from the Metrolink station on the same road.
