Cat boarding vs. kennels vs. in-home sitters
Most kennels are built for dogs and take cats on the side, which means barking, unfamiliar smells and a lot of stress for an animal that depends on routine. In-home sitters avoid that, but a thirty-minute visit leaves your cat alone for the other twenty-three and a half hours, with no one to notice if they stop eating or hide an illness. A cats-only boarding hotel sits between the two: a quiet, dog-free building, a private condo or suite, and trained people on site all day who know what a healthy cat looks like.
Cats Luv Us has boarded cats in Laguna Niguel since 1996. Every stay includes daily photo updates, playroom time and medication care if needed, and you can add cat grooming so your cat comes home bathed and brushed. Dates are easy to check and hold online at our reservation page, and new customers get their first night free.

Which vaccines are required?
FVRCP and Rabies, current and from a licensed veterinarian. Bring a copy or have your vet email it to us before drop-off.
What should I bring?
Your cat, their usual food, and any medications. We supply bedding, bowls and litter; a small item that smells like home is welcome.
Can my cats share a room?
Yes. Siblings and bonded pairs can share a Deluxe Suite at a reduced per-cat rate. Just tell us when you reserve.
Can you give my cat medication?
Yes, including pills, insulin and subcutaneous fluids, on your schedule. Medication administration is an add-on at booking.
What are your hours for drop-off and pick-up?
Drop-off and pick-up are during business hours, seven days a week. Holiday hours vary; call (949) 582-1732 for a specific date.
How much does cat boarding cost?
