Our Forbes Road hotel sits on the Laguna Niguel side of the I-5, a few hundred yards from the Mission Viejo city limit — the nearby Metrolink stop is even named Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo. From central Mission Viejo, Marguerite Parkway to Oso Parkway and a short hop on the I-5 took about 9 minutes in our routing check.
That proximity is why so many Mission Viejo households have trusted us since we opened in 1993. It is close enough to come back for a grooming appointment or a quick visit to drop off forgotten food.
Homes around Lake Mission Viejo and Casta del Sol usually head south on Marguerite or Alicia Parkway. Families in Pacific Hills and the northern neighborhoods near Portola may find Crown Valley Parkway more direct. Weekday mornings are busiest near the freeway on-ramps, so leave a little buffer if you are heading to work afterward.
Being minutes away means you can drop off a forgotten medication or extra food without turning it into an errand. It also makes a short trial stay practical: board your cat for one or two nights while you are still in town, see how it does, then book the longer trip with confidence. Mission Viejo clients near the Kaleidoscope and Crown Valley Parkway corridor, or along Jeronimo Road, often tell us the trip takes about as long as a grocery run.

Yes. Ask for a groom near the end of the stay so your cat is fresh when you pick up.
