The Legend of the Pussy Willow
According to an outdated Polish legend, quite a few springtimes ago a mother cat was crying at the bank of the river in which her kittens have been drowning. The willows at the river’s edge longed to assistance her, so they swept their prolonged swish branches into the waters to rescue the little kittens who experienced fallen into the river while chasing butterflies. The kittens gripped on tightly to their branches and were securely brought to shore.
